Sprint reviews are often underused. They become quick demos or status meetings, when in reality, they can be a strategic tool for alignment and team recognition. In this episode of How I PM, Sharon Allpress, VP of Strategic Engagements at EOT.AI, shares how to make them count.
Sharon’s Three Keys to Better Sprint Reviews:
- Let developers run the demo
Let the people who built the feature walk stakeholders through what they’ve accomplished. It builds confidence, ownership, and trust. - Focus on feedback, not discovery
The sprint review is not the time to introduce new ideas. Use it to confirm whether the work is release-ready and aligned with expectations. - Strengthen engagement
Encourage interaction between developers, users, and stakeholders. That connection increases empathy and leads to better product thinking.
“Sprint reviews are your chance to pause, reflect, and build shared understanding. Make them count.” – Sharon Allpress
